Shelley is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Buoy Healthcare Group. She is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with a Master of Clinical Health Sciences and advanced clinical training in perimenopause and menopause care. She is also an active member of The Menopause Society and Postpartum Support International.

Her areas of focus include hormone therapy, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, musculoskeletal changes in midlife, care after surgical menopause, metabolic health, and midlife nutrition.

Shelley is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, a Certified Parental Burnout Provider, and a Certified Facilitator with the Fair Play Policy Institute. Together, these areas of training give Shelley distinct clinical insight into what many women are actually carrying in midlife, including changes in their bodies, changing nutritional needs, caregiving, work, family systems, and years of cumulative load.

Shelley sees patients in person on the Eastside and offers virtual visits for patients throughout Washington state.

At Buoy, she works in clinical partnership with Dr. Darin Davidson, MD, when additional physician collaboration is needed for more complex medical concerns.

Dr. Darin Davidson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, trained epidemiologist, and medical director with deep expertise in musculoskeletal health, recovery, and whole-person wellbeing.

He received his medical degree from the University of Ottawa, completed orthopedic surgery residency at the University of British Columbia, where he also earned a Master's in Epidemiology, and completed advanced fellowship training at Harvard University and the University of Toronto, with subspecialty experience in musculoskeletal oncology.

His goal is to help patients move beyond fragmented care and into a more complete understanding of their health, so they can pursue strength, function, quality of life, and meaningful wellbeing over time.
